About
First time I learned to cook, I was 7 years old. My grandma taught me how to make simple things, like how to boil eggs, make steam rice, cook fried rice; scrambled egg; stir fried noodle.. and I loved it!
Later on, when I was in college, I turned my passion for cooking into a business. When some friends were complaining that they did not have the time to prepare their own meals, I told them that I would cook for them. It started with 5 friends. Then words got out, 5 became 15 in 2 weeks. Before I knew it, I got to prepare weekday lunches and dinners for 30 people, while also juggling assignments and exams in completion my bachelor degree. It was insane! I still can't believe that I was able to, but I did it!! :)
Now that I am married and become a mom of two, cooking is about bringing families and friends together. It's a true joy when your food is appreciated and enjoyed. Hearing "yummm" and "This is so good" from my kids is a huge reward of cooking. Lately my kids has been asking me to teach them how to cook. Makes me happy, and I feel accomplished.
By starting this blog, perhaps I could share what I have learned and tried, and hopefully inspire you to create something wonderful for your family, too.
I love comments and feedback so please don’t hesitate to contact me at gigglesandjoy16@yahoo.com or simply just leave a comment on my blog. Can't wait to hear from you!Thank you for visiting Giggles and Joy!
